Ministry
In addition to the training that we offer, we also are actively living and serving in our urban community. Our presence in Winnipeg’s West End community has many expressions, as are more than just missionaries to our community, but also neighbours. Therefore, in addition to any programs or events that we offer or participate in, each of our staff also lives in the community, participating in the life of the neighbourhood.
We do, however, have more formal ministries in the community, which are as follows:
Church Plant Partnership: As our relationship with people in the community deepened, we found that we were naturally moving in the direction of creating a small community of faith in the neighbourhood. To that end we have entered into a partnership with Mennonite Church Manitoba to plant an inner city church. We are now in the process of forming the Little Flowers Community.
