Peace & Justice Internship 2015

March 2nd – May 22nd, 2015

The Peace & Justice Internship is designed to provide participants with practical understanding of and engagement with issues of peace and justice from a Christian worldview. In the context of intentional Christian community and alongside engaged long term ministry in an inner city neighbourhood, participants will receive training, teaching, mentoring and opportunities to explore different dynamics surrounding peace and justice

Topics will include:

  • Theological Foundations in Peace & Justice
  • Practical Expressions & Implications of Peacemaking
  • Peace & Justice in Creation Care
  • Peace & Justice in Context
  • Doing Peace & Justice as Community
  • Weekly & Intensive Practicum Opportunities
  • Topics: human trafficking, displaced peoples; racism; poverty; etc.
